DIY Necklace

Hi there,

So, I was cleaning out my closet and I found an old shirt from Forever 21 that I had not worn in years.  It had a really nice jewel detail around the collar and I thought it would make a great statement necklace, so I got to snipping.

I cut off the excess fabric and sewed two loops on either side of the necklace where the ribbon would go through.

   

Here is the finished necklace

         

I love the ribbon detail because I can make the necklace whatever length I want.  Now the only thing left to do is wear it out!
