Missoni Inspired Design

This past week I made a design inspired by the iconic fashion house Missoni.  Missoni is known for their bold and colorful zig-zag print. www.missoni.com/

This design was a real DIY project, but in my case it was more like a group effort with my dad and brother-in-law helping me make the frame from which the flowers hung.

I spray painted the entire frame black, placed mums and daises in water tubes and attached them to the chicken wire.

My color palette of flowers was a trio of vibrant oranges, reds and yellows.  The end product was a bold color explosion of floral art.

Remember, inspiration can come from anywhere!
