So I often get the question of "how can I stretch my dollar when designing?" It's a matter of knowing how to use what you have and making less look like more. That's exactly what I did the other day. I didn't have that many flowers on hand, but I still managed to make an impactful arrangement. I used the "scraps" that were leftover from a previous arrangement: 3 anemones, 3 calendulas, 1 small palm, a piece of a ti leaf, a handful of jade, hydrangea leaves, and a leuchadendron variety (recently spotted at Trader Joe's).
The bold anemones and vivid calendulas are a perfect pairing |
I made a terrarium-like base using sand, and the small cut materials |

Remember to think simple and understated. You don't have to break the bank to make an eye- catching arrangement.
