Last week Johanna and I decided to make an arrangement out of kale! Not
the same kale that people are making into chips these days but a
"flowering kale". Technically the name is Brassica
oleracea and we love it in floral arrangements! We were able to reuse
the flowers and make two wedding bouquets and a centerpiece. If we wanted we could reuse the kale a fourth time for our dinner, it's totally edible! We also included purple tipped white dahlias and roses from my garden.

What is the specific variety name? Brassica oleracea is the name for everything in the broccoli/cabbage/kale/etc family. The light purple is very pretty. I'd be interested in growing some for myself if you know what the specific name is. Thanks!
