Lily Update #2
As promised, here is another update on the lilies Johanna and I planted back in April. They have bloomed very nicely as you can see in the pics below! So far my favorite are the light pink ones. About half of them have bloomed and others are about to bloom. Can't wait to see what colors the rest are!

Perfectly Pink
Hi Everyone,
This weekend Leti and I did a couple of arrangements for a confirmation luncheon. The client wanted an age appropriate design for her daughter--something girly yet sophisticated. Our color palette was soft pinks with a hint of white. We used white hydrangeas, blush pink peonies (which smelled delicious), pink spray roses and two kinds of lisianthus--light pink and these really beautiful full white ones with barely there pink tips.

Super cute, right? I was totally loving the peonies because they were so big and open. Lucky for me we had one peony left over, so it is now in a bud vase at my place!

Kale Kraze
Last week Johanna and I decided to make an arrangement out of kale! Not
the same kale that people are making into chips these days but a
"flowering kale". Technically the name is Brassica
oleracea and we love it in floral arrangements! We were able to reuse
the flowers and make two wedding bouquets and a centerpiece. If we wanted we could reuse the kale a fourth time for our dinner, it's totally edible! We also included purple tipped white dahlias and roses from my garden.

Vintage Elegance
Hi Everyone,
I can't believe it's June already! I feel like time has flown by soooo fast. I wish there were more hours in the day. That way I could do way more things on my ever growing to do list like...blog more, learn how to use the bf's fancy camera, pin stuff, organize the office (one of these days it's gonna happen). Ok enough of me going on a tangent and let's get back to business. A couple of weeks ago Leti gave you a sneak peak of some of the pieces from the photo shoot. Here are the rest as promised. Drum roll please....

How awesome are all the photos!?!
As you can see by the pics the color theme was hues of orange with soft greens. The flowers we used were ranunculus, succulents, lisianthus, cockscomb, scabiosas (that are currently my new obsession) & dusty miller. If you like what you see check out the website for more pics www.PosyDesign.com
Thanks to all the people that made the photo shoot happen! Especially Leti for driving up to Sacramento to deliver the flowers.
